Suffern Day

Celebrate Saturday Suffern style! First, start your day at the Suffern Farmers’ Market and see why we are our community’s favorite Saturday morning destination!  Listen to great music while sipping a cup of locally roasted coffee. Visit and chat with our many vendors offering fruits, beef, veggies, flowers, cheese, breads, and more.
And this week the Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension will teach kids about composting with live worms on display!

At the Market this week – The Foggy Dew Returns!  Traditional Irish music, “rebel” and pub songs.
Rick Sloat (banjo, vocals, percussion), Gordon Mathsen (bass, vocals) and Ed Packer (guitar, vocals)
Down at the Suffern Athletic Fields, the Village of Suffern will have 30+ Civic organizations and 18 restaurants represented from 11:00am until 3:00pm. Helicopters, emergency vehicles and inflatables will be available for young ones to explore.
In town, from 2:00-5:00, the Chamber of Commerce will present their Antique & Classic Car Exhibition! And back at the ballfield beginning at 6pm, the Village will have live music to be followed by a display of fireworks!
